Welcome to the Village of Stetsonville!
Our community is shaped by the people who call it home and the shared values that bring us together. With a strong appreciation for small-town living and a commitment to thoughtful growth, Stetsonville is a place where neighbors look out for one another and community matters. We are proud of our village and are always here to help—please feel free to reach out with any questions or needs.
Stetsonville was officially incorporated in 1949, though its history dates back to the 1870s when Isaiah F. Stetson established a sawmill in the area. Before incorporation, the community was part of the Town of Little Black to the west and the Town of Deer Creek to the east.
The Village is governed by a Village Board made up of a President and four Trustees. Current members include President Greg Brunner and Trustees Al Riemer, Stephanie Bohn, Tyler Lemke, and Will McCarron. Board members serve two-year terms and are elected on an alternating schedule every other year.
Tia M. Kancilia serves as the appointed Clerk/Treasurer. The Clerk/Treasurer’s Office is located on the north side of the Jean M. Thomsen Memorial Library building at 105 North Gershwin Street. Office hours are Monday through Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The office is closed on Fridays.
